If l could share little moments that were small to others but meant so much to me.1. Her favorite turtle shirt 2. Listening to "the 1st time ever l saw your face" 3. Never leaving without saying l love you & getting a sweet treat for the road. 4. Having a cupcake party at before 10am. Or 5. Dishing the latest news while eating nutty buddies at 830 in the morning. Alil' silly but true. memories of a beautiful soul. Love you miss you

I am so saddened by her death. I knew Shirley for perhaps 5 years; and in that time got to know her as a wonderful mom, grandma and great, grandma. I fondly recall many mornings sitting around the ‘kitchen’ table at the campground drinking coffee (me and Connie) and having breakfast simply talking and learning and listening. Both my grandmas I didn’t know well -I was 8 when one died, the other was moved way-out (from Brooklyn, anyway) to NJ, so talking and listening to OG was akin to having a grandma. I will surely miss Shirley and her laugh; I know I was positively touched and consider myself fortunate to know her. She always was a bit nervous when I hugged her - said she literally would be crushed if I fell on her. I promised I wouldn’t fall on her, then she would laugh that infectious laugh.
God bless Shirley and may she Rest in Eternal Peace.

Grandmom is already so missed. Some of my favorite memories of Grandmom were at holiday parties when she would quietly walk into the room and carefully tuck cookies, candies and treats into a napkin and slip it in her pocket to stash away. When caught in the act she’d say “What? I’m not doing anything!” I cherished our mutual love for yard sales and thrifting and will never forget how excited she was to gift the most random items. I’ll think of her every time I look at them. Love and miss you Grandmom!
