She was the sweetest woman ever. I'll never forget her kindness and fun-loving spirit. So many good times down in North Carolina, Superbowl parties, hanging out with Steve and her taking care of us when we were young, and bowling nights where she beat me every time.
Martha was an inspiration for us all. Year after year she dedicated herself to lead our Sunday School programs and to better our church and those around her, and she always did so with a big smile and positive energy. She brought so much joy and love to our children. She was a blessing. Our prayers are with the Parker family.
Q: What will you never forget about Martha?
A: Martha would inspire with life advice when we would bowl on Thursday nights. She was always level-headed when tensions would flare between players and would be the keeper of peace. Heaven received an Angel and she will now watch over all of us.
Martha always had a smile, even on church clean-up days. Especially good with children of all ages, Martha’s Trunk or Treat always entertained them with games and goodies. I will miss here light here with us but she will always be a light in our hearts.
Martha will be missed very much in this neighborhood. She was a great neighbor very kind always had a smile for everybody, was a very pleasant woman and always easy to talk to. I know she loved the Lord and I believe that's where she's at now in a much better place. No more pain or suffering and my heart goes out to her husband and her children. I pray God will give you much grace and peace during this time of loss. God bless you all.
