We are so sorry to learn of Father’s passing. He was a great friend to my Aunt Dot Cartica at St .Joe’s. He concelebrated our wedding and was the hit of our reception. He later came back to baptize our daughter. Although we lost touch in the past few years, we have very fond memories of John. May he Rest In Peace with our Lord.

Father Bruni casted me in my senior year play at GCHS as Gypsy … he was a significant part of my life then and many years later as he was the Priest that married me … he will forever have a place in my heart … and he will be missed …. I first met Fr. Bruni as a high school student at Gloucester Catholic. I feel lucky because as one of his students and I got to know him personally. It’s once in a lifetime, people get to meet an amazing person like him. But lightning struck twice. Many years later I got to work with him closely as the first PTA treasurer at Guardian Angels Regional School where both my children graduated. Thank you for the work you did in preaching and teaching my family and thank you for your words of wisdom and strong faith. Jackie Holcomb Barnett

Fr. Bruni was a kind, funny priest who gave wonderful homilies. He gave my son his first holy eucharist and made it very special. God Bless you.
