What a wonderful person. All the families in the 60's and 70's who lived in Lakeside neighborhood knew and loved Mrs. May. She welcomed us into her home, and was such a sweet, caring person. God bless her.

A life well -lived leaves behind a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of memories. Thank you Ma May, for many years of laughter, fun, crazy shenanigans and the traditional passing of the " Christmas card", the creative ways it was delivered year after year. Lol. You will be deeply missed by all.May you rest in peace and remain as BEAUTIFUL as your smile. Sending love and prayers with deepest condolences to the May family. With love, Patti Pierce

To the family of Dell May:
The first court appearance I ever made was in the Glassboro Municipal Court. Frankly, I was nervous. I went up to Dell to ask whether I had to check in. She smiled and said yes and told me not to worry - you will be just fine! My fears immediately vanished, and from that day forward I loved being a trial lawyer. I am most grateful for the positive influence that Dell had on me as a lawyer and as a person.
My deepest condolences to the May family,
Joseph Hoffman, Jr.

Heaven received the best , loving , fun GmaMay they could ever ask for. Your smile , your laughs, your hugs and love will be missed for sure and by many others as well. The holidays were always special with you from Christmas to Halloween to the many birthdays to count. You would take us around to see all the lights and a trip to the brandywine river museum-you always made them a special little trip. I always cherished the moments when Silver Bells would play you would sing it everytime it came on the radio- you always brought joy and smiles to all. The parades also were fun and special-we'd watch from start to finish and you had to get up and clap and dance with her when the bands went marching by-i still do today....the memories will stay with me forever. Love you always and forever.

The world just lost an angel on earth! Dell was a beautiful lady who, even after leaving the court system, would call me to say hello. Such a sweet, lovely woman. I will miss her calls and her lively spirit. My sincere condolences to the May family on your loss. God bless you all at this sorrowful time.

To family of the sweetest lady I will ever know. I met your mother when she worked as a crossing guard on my corner. Come to find out she was Scotts mom. We had so many laughs. Then as I grew up I came across her at boro hall. Many times I came across her in the courtroom because of drinking. Your mother was my inspiration to get sober. All I can say is your mom was the greatest. Now she is home with your father and Scott.
