John Kane, Newtown Pa posted a condolence

John was a great friend and a wonderful human being. He was a man of impeccable integrity. I have known John for about 10 or so years but I really got to know John very well last year. Once a week all spring and summer long John would travel an hour from his home in Pitman NJ to come to my home in Newtown, PA and then drive home after each session was concluded. John had volunteered to help me refurbish my 1958 Corvette that I had restored 40 years ago. John and I would work about 6 hours during each work session. We shared a love for all old cars and for, Corvettes, in particular. Our work sessions were 40% work and 60% talking about our cars, our families and our life experiences in general. John was just a quality person in every way possible. He loved his dear wife, and his entire family . I tried to compensate John for his efforts, but he would always refused saying " I just love working on old cars". I will miss John very much, and am indeed happy to have been able to call John my good friend. I wish to express my most sincere condolences to Carole, as well as to John's family and friends.
