Obituary of Matthew George Thomas

Matthew George Thomas, age 47, died suddenly on October 31, 2022. Matthew received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. In his younger years, Matthew was a Boy Scout to Life Scout and received his Black Belt in Tang Soo Do Karate at age 10. He worked for a contractor in South Philadelphia. Matthew was very artistic and into music and making music. He was a incredible son and friend and was very compassionate, kind and empathetic. Survived by his loving mother Joyce Ann Mayers and caring brother David Thomas. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents George R.H. and Doris Mayers. Friends may greet the family after 9:30am on Thursday in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Bethel Cemetery, Washington Twp.
