My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Although he was my mothers cousin he was always an Uncle to me. I remember all the times at Aunt Violas House filled with laughter and playing in the backyard with Allison and Ryan as Freddy watched from the back room with my grandparents and Aunt Vi and Uncle Fred. He will be missed greatly!

Fred and I were co-workers and friends for many years. And after we were both married, we and our wives remained good friends. Before I was disabled, Fred and I used to go bowling (he always beat me) and we often discussed history (a favorite subject with us both), we would listen to music (generally but not always classical), and we would watch movies (Fred liked Westerns as do I). I remember going to the Film Forum in New York to see classic movies with Fred and, after we both got married, the four of us would go there. We also enjoyed going out for lunches or dinners or just getting together and talking. Yes we were friends for many years and Rosalind and I are very grateful for that – but there were not enough of those years. Fred will be greatly missed by us and by all who knew him. Our sincere condolences go out to Joan and his family.
