Obituary of Gary Bernard Kanney

Gary Bernard Kanney died on June 24th, 2022, at the age of 72. He is survived by his loving wife, Elisabeth M. Kanney, nee Juraschka and two children, Michael and Katreena. He loved his family unconditionally and will be gravely missed by them. Gary was born in the Bronx, NY, and raised in Rochelle Park, NJ. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in education from Glassboro State College. He then became a life-long resident of Pitman and taught in their school system for over 30 years, namely in the Pitman Middle School. He was also a private accountant with clients spanning Gloucester County. Gary and his wife were active members of St Stephen's Lutheran Church in Woodbury. Friends May greet the family Friday from 9am-11am at Kelley Funeral home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Graveside service will be at 11:30am in Woodbury Memorial Park.
