Kay and I will always cherish our friendship with Barbara and Bob, especially on our annual KofC bowling tournament trips. And whenever I see a ground hog scampering along the side of the road while driving I think of Barbara - she was always the first to spot them and try and point them out to Kay. (Had to be there to fully appreciate the humor in this.) They were special people. I cannot think of one without the other. They were such a loving couple. We will miss them dearly. May you both Rest In Peace.

In 1961 Barbara caught my bridal bouquet and then a few months later married my cousin, Bob. Thus, we became cousins by marriage. Over the years we enjoyed occasional visits and emails/phone calls. She wrote up for me several of what she called "old-timey" recipes from our Kopaczewski/Cooper grandmother, recipes that I cherish, especially now that she has joined Bob in eternal rest. She was a most gracious and hospitable woman and a person of deep faith. Sherm and I send our love and sympathy to you Deb, Christine, Bob, and your families.

"Hon" was one of a kind: great woman, great Friend to us. Over the years we spent wonderful times together, shared many laughs (and some tears), but most of all we are grateful to have been part of her life. We will truly miss her.
