Linda was kind and caring, dedicated to her family and friends. Her presence in our neighborhood and her love of the children she helped were hallmarks of a wonderful life. Years ago, she was the first to welcome us to our new home. We saw firsthand how she helped others. She was a force of goodness . Pitman has lost one of the great ones.

Im truly sad to hear of Linda's passing. She was the Ultimate neighbor. Always there to check in on my mother Dolores Lawrence. My mother looked forward to sitting on the block wall talking with Linda. My mother was a shy quiet person but Linda brought out my mother's inner self. She was so much fun to talk to. Her high energy was contagious. Her friendship goes back another generation with her kindness towards my grandmother Edna Kelly. Linda watched over her as well. If there was a concern Linda would call me and discuss what was needed. I will never forget Linda's ultimate caring heart. Rest well Linda. You have left your mark on everyone that knew you.

Sending our sympathy to the family.did not know of her death till June 9. Always a friendly person and had catch ups when seeing her on her post or yard sales. Neighbors for years when they lived on Woodbury rd. Our daughter played with Diane and Barbara. Our daughter lost her baby front tooth way to soon on their play swing

Linda was a good babysitter and i always remember when she took me to school up the street near her house. I also liked watching movies and playing on the swings with her grandchildren. Linda you were a good friend and a good babysitter. I know that you are in gods arms now watching over us all. You will be greatly missed. Sincerely Gabriella Valdez from Vineland, NJ

Linda is all the important things that represent a true friend. I have loved this friend for almost 40 years. She represents everything a friend should be. I could trust her with anything, in fact she helped raise my youngest child, Nita from 12 weeks old and loved her like her own child. We could be ourselves when we were together, and also tell each other the absolute truth with no judgement, even if it was difficult to hear. I loved her most when she offered that level of caring, because it's rare. She loved me the way I am and was still so supportive. She listened to me with her heart. It was a bonus that we liked so many of the same things and had the same values. She had my best interests at heart and was always available when she was well. I remember how much she loved my homemade cheesecake, and I'll really miss all the community projects and charities she got us involved in. I envy her skill and enthusiasm .She was loyal and kept in touch whether she needed something or not. We respected each other's differences and respected when we said "no" to something. Or as Linda would put it, "I'm not doing that!" That makes me smile, I can almost hear her voice. She was a private person and respected my privacy, and we felt safe with each other. She is one of the kindest most caring person I ever met. I will never forget you Linda you are in my heart forever. I love you.
