Carol was such a great friend! Our mutual friend, Bridget, shared this with me in Florida. Carol was the most loving, caring, woman I have met. She gave her family, her friends and her daycare kids every bit of love she could muster. She was cheerful, giving, and made everyone she met want to be a better person- the person she was. Carol, enjoy Heaven, and wait for me. We have a lot of catching up to do.

My dear friend and colleague was surely a people person. She loved people and enjoyed being a film child care provider. Anything Carol could do to help you do and be the best you can be she did. Carol had a huge heart, lots of love and yes, she loved to feed you. You could never visit her home and not eat. Carol will be truly missed but cherished in many of our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with the Calabrese family today and always. Sadly submitted with love, Elmoria Thomas, past SRCCRC/EIRC

Steve and I (cousins) have been best friends for 45 years. We had 2 mothers. Mine (Sue DiBianca) and his (Carol Calabrese). Carol, who I always called mom, treated me like a son. Steve and I could do no wrong in her eyes. One could not function without the other. We sometimes fought like brothers and she she would get us back in line and making up like a mother would do. She had the kindest heart. If I needed her she was always there. The same way my mother was for me. I will miss her very much and I will never forget the kindness and love she always showed me. To her I was always family. RIP mom. I love you! Always and forever.

What can I say? There isn’t enough space to describe what an amazing, loving, caring , beautiful person mama was. I met Mama, as I always called her, when I became friends with Natalie. I instantly felt like family. I will always remember her beautiful smile, and spunkiness! Spitfire with a heart of gold. Her husband, children, family and friends, meant the world to her, and it showed. Mama will be greatly missed, but we can’t help but smile when we think about her.
She is in Heaven feeding Jesus and the Angels
❤️ Love you mama

Heaven gained a beautiful heart mind and soul. I first met Carol when I was looking for a caregiver for my boys. She is now using her gorgeous heart to take care of all of the children in heaven. My heartfelt condolences. Such a lovely woman. RIP gentle kind loving soul.

Heaven gained a beautiful soul, one full of love, support, generosity and ready to give a hug or a kick in the ass when needed.
She played an integral part in life, truly a second mom.
