During the late 1950s I recall Leroy playing on the Hercules softball team, of which my dad was also a member. He seemed always to wear a big smile and he was very kind to me. What a delightful part he plays in those memories.

I had the pleasure of knowing the May family in the 1960's and 1970's as Leroy's son, Scott, was my best friend. Lakeside was a new neighborhood where dozens of families knew each other. The entire neighborhood loved and respected the May family. Mr. and Mrs. May did a great job raising their children. If all parents were like them, the World would be a better place. Leroy was a great father, neighbor, and a great person. God bless the May family.

So sorry to hear that Roy's life on earth has come to an end. I always knew him as a kind man with strong community ties and a strong commitment to his family. To Dell, his loving wife who was a longtime friend to my sister Pat, my heart shares the sadness you and your family are going through at this time. May God be with you at your time of need and give you strength to reflect on the memories you shared with Roy.

Your tribute to Leroy is so warming. All of us at Garner Chiropractic just want to send our deepest , heartfelt condolences to Dell, Wendy, Charlene, and the rest of his family members. We loved Leroy and we all enjoyed his presence when he came into our office. We all had the pleasure to know him, as his humerous, friendly self and also as a patient. He was certainly a wonderful man. We are so grateful he felt good when he left the office and that made him very happy. He will truly be missed by all of us. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Dell: Sending love and sympathy to all the May family. Stan and I were lucky enough to share a lot of memories especially all the good times in Florida. We really got to know Leroy and had lots of laughs together. Still remember talking him into going to Jammin Jensen and him not wanting to go. Next thing we knew there he was dancing on the sidewalk. He will be missed but leaves behind many cherished memories ❤️
Love and hugs,
Joanie and Stan
