I met Deb a dozen or so years ago while working at ulta where I did her hair for the first time. Little did I know what a special friendship would come of that. I can honestly say that Deb was the only client that I would so look forward to chatting with for hours every appt and catching up with each other about anything and everything. It was always the highlight of my day having coffee and tea together (she would bring her own tea of course) and gabbing nonstop. She supported me through the start and end of my own business, was there for my wedding and then to meet my daughter. I never saw Deb as a client she was like a best friend from the beginning and I will forever be grateful that I was lucky enough to share all the time we did. I hope she knew how much she meant to me. I will remember all of the wonderful memories and miss you dearly my friend.

My Darling Deb, I'm gonna miss you so much especially talking about all the British stuff going for a curry and laughing our socks off together. You were fabulous and taken far too quickly.
We will never forget you and as you would say i'll talk to you later pet xxx

Dearest Debs, I'm going to miss you so much but the memories of you will always be with me. I left home when you were only 10 years old but whenever we met up or spoke on the phone it was as if we had never been apart. It was being so naturally loving, kind and caring that made you special and made me proud to call you my sister. I'm so sorry that Mum and I can't be with you on Monday, we will be thinking of you and our hearts go out to Dave, Jason, Lauren and Julianna. You will be sadly missed by all who knew you xxxxx

Although I didn't know Debbie personally at the time of her going to the USA I was instrumental in her doing so and although that was a loss to all who knew her over here in UK, it was obvious how happy she was with her new life over there with Dave and Jason and eventually with Julianna. Over the years my Dave and I did get to know her. She was indeed special. Her humour, laughter and true joy of life and family together with the ability to make something ordinary into something much more is well known. Our hearts and thoughts go out to her beloved Dave who is truly bereft. Deb will be sorely missed in many ways but she will also always be remembered with love by a huge range of people, including us.

Although I have known Debs for more than 30 years and she was at our wedding, I only really got to know her well about 7 years ago when she came to stay with us after Julian had a stroke. Debs was so kind and caring and concerned to find out how I was coping with everything that had happened, and she genuinely wanted to know. When Debs spoke to me, she was present in the conversation, she was not just being polite, she was interested and would ask lots of questions. Debs and I became friends and I will miss our two-hour long phone calls when we would put the world to rights. We discovered how alike we were in the way that our minds worked, and we agreed on so many things. I so wish I had got to know Debs earlier, but I will forever cherish the friendship we shared for the last seven years. Debs was a very special person to so many people and she was completely oblivious to how much she was loved by us all. I will remember Debs as a kind, funny, sassy, generous, brave and FOREVER FABULOUS friend. Sweet dreams Debs. xx

Deb was an amazing person and a wonderful friend. She loved the Isle of Wight, where we grew up together, and although we were 3500 miles apart we never let that friendship go. She lit up a room when she was with you and her laughter was infectious. I can hear her say ( when she didn’t agree… ) “ now Fi just listen to what I’m saying “ she cared, she loved, and she’s so very sadly missed by us all. Rest in peace my dear dear friend and until we meet again know for certain you are dearly loved by all the people you have left behind. We will say our our own goodbyes to you on Monday on Tennyson Down a place you and Dave both loved and visited often when you were here. Good night and God Bless, Fi and Mr D xxx

Everyone’s favourite Aunty Debs. Wow! A lady that I had heard so much about, a lady that was loved so much by the family. She didn’t disappoint. Best salad maker ever. Aunty Deb, everyone that met you fell instantly in love with you. You were so much fun, and we all adored you. RIP, beautiful lady. Gone but never ever forgotten xx

Our dear friend Deb, who we have known since our school days, when we thought we were so cool, and rebellious in our mini skirts and knee high boots. Deb has been the best friend anyone could wish for, and we've kept in touch all these years despite the miles between us. We can't imagine not hearing her voice and laughter ever again - she would always light up a room with her infectious smile - everybody loved Deb. As we can't be there to say our goodbyes in person on Monday, we will be at your beloved Tennyson Down to say our own farewell dear friend. Till we meet again chuck! Much love. Lin and Dave Shorter xx

I still remember the first night I met Deb. It took everything in me to not ask her if she knew the Spice Girls. Over the next six years she became a big part of my life and after about 4 years I finally figured out when she said “you alright?” she was asking “how are you?” I will forever cherish the memories and laughs we shared but most of all the unforgettable Nan she was to our daughter. Her eyes sparkled with pure happiness and pride when Julianna was in her company and that’s something I will never forget and forever be grateful for. You will forever live on in your granddaughter ❤️
