Kathy,Susan ,Amy and all the family
I am so sorry I couldn't attend the service. Your father was a dear friend to me and I am sorry I lost track your parents. Mr. Davis was the person I went to talk to when my mom died. He was there as I was getting sober. I remember he said to me I was old enough to call him Jim,but, he was always Mr. Davis to me. Your parents were great people and again I'm sorry I didn't do more to find them.

I am so saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. Jim hired me as the first vice-Prinicipal at the Aura School about 30 years ago. He was a true mentor and his guidance, encouragement and life lessons launched my career in public school administration. His compassion and sense of fairness shaped my path as I entered the world of educational leadership. Jim’s dedication to both students and staff cannot be overstated. His love of family and life itself was evident in all he did. Jim, a true gentleman in all respects, has left a void in the world not easily filled. Condolences to his family, friends, teachers both past and present, and colleagues, for our loss is shared by all. Our memories of Jim will be our blessings.

I was saddened to hear about the death of James H. Davis, a man of great character. He and I worked together for many years at the Aura School in Elk Township where he served as principal and I was employed as a teacher. Actually, I was hired by him in the mid 1970s and was fortunate to have a kind, compassionate, fully engaged leader who cared very much for the students and their families. He also showed an interest in the families of faculty and staff and was always willing to lend a sympathetic ear. My family and I send our love and condolences to his wife Beverly, his children and grandchildren and all who loved him. May faith, family and friends bring you comfort.

Sympathies to the family. Such a nice man. My father, Fred Keepfer, worked with Jim at Aura school years ago. My father is now passed as well. Rest In Peace. God bless

Kathy n I are so sorry about Jim's passing. We know that he is in Glory with Jesus his Savior. And that Jesus said to him come on in my good n faithful servant. Jim gave Kathy her very first teaching job. We had the great honor of being married by Jim 40 years ago. He was a wonderful, gentle man, Christian man. We love you Jim n thanks for memories. Prayers for the family during this difficult time.
