Aunt Helen always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. My mother, Regina, was her older sister and my mother adored Aunt Helen. I used to hear my mother’s side of their late night conversations together when they were both older. I heard laughter, warmth, sometimes sadness but always love. Glad they can talk together again. All I can say is that there was only one Aunt Helen. She was so loving and supportive of me and my family when my mother, her sister, passed away. I enjoyed all the times I would bring my mother up to see her and their brother, Billy. The last time was so special because Michael and I "got the band back together" and have the pictures to prove it. I will miss our talks discussing how I was doing and her special interest in my boys. The last time I was with her we ate cheese pizza and talked about family and good memories. I guess , as we all Do have many memories of My Aunt Helen . My biggest memory Helen and her late husband , John would always make me feel welcomed and loved anytime I would come to visit . . Their fiftieth Wedding Anniversary Party was such a Truly festive and Incredible Time . I really Enjoyed that immensely.
