Mrs. Senula, as I knew her, was like a 2nd mom to me growing up. I spent a lot of time at the Senula home playing with my dear friend Maria (and my younger brother Jeff with Karl). I remember her Hummel collection, liverwurst sandwiches, the German clock, the Volkswagon bus, ice skating at nearby Glen Lake, and Mrs. Senula caring for Mr. Senula. As an adult, I now understand how remarkable it was for her to care for him at home, given the severity of his disabilty. I’m exhausted just thinking about it, but she just did what she had to do. Thank you Patty for your kind words and recalling precious memories about my mom. She certainly did do what she had to do. She dearly loved her husband, Nippy, and her 6 six children. She did the best she could to take care of all. Your mom was a good woman, too, with a big heart! Lisa

"Harold and Eleanor Marple send our sympathy to all the children and family members of Teresa. It was a long wonder life that she had and you could not ask for more. She was a strong women and a nice neighbor. It is sad for us to be the oldest on our street and see the chances that have taken place,but many memories to will be in our hearts forever."
