Obituary of Bonnie Jean Lake

It is with great sadness the family of Bonnie J. Lake (nee Marris) announces her passing after a battle with COVID-19 on December 22, 2020 at the age of 68 in Washington Township. Bonnie will be remembered along with her late husband of 44 years, Kenneth who also passed from COVID-19 shortly before Bonnie. Bonnie is predeceased by her parents Earl and Emma Vail as well as her sister Robin Kapurelos (nee Marris). Bonnie is survived by her 3 children Amy Henry (Matt), Jennifer Lake (Paul), and Timothy Lake as well as her grandchildren Billy Henry, Seth Henry, and Regina Janoski. Also by her siblings Benny Marris (Gina), Ronnie Marris, John Marris (Diana) , Anna Marris (Nate), Debrann Silks (Richard) Trudy Shinn (John) ; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other family and friends. Do to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family decided for everyone's well being to wait for a safer time and hold a Life Celebration. We encourage family and friends to join us in remembering Bonnie at her Life Celebration which will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1:00pm at Kelley Funeral Home located at 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
