There are many fond memories of 709 Cedar Avenue, here in Pitman. Joyce always opened up her home to her three Daughters friends. I look back at the many good times I spent with Debbie, Janice, and Sandy with their parents Chuck and Joyce. Joyce allowed friends to gather at her home, and you never waited outside after a knock on the door. You were always invited into her living room where there was always a warm welcome. I remember Joyce's voice as soft spoken, and she offered both wit and wisdom to those that frequented her and Chuck's home. Joyce had a very special smile, a caring heart, and a warm embrace in all the times I spent at Cedar Avenue. I believe the love Chuck and Joyce extended to others will always be in that home, and as I ride by the house, I think of the kindness received there to John, Chris, Bob, Jack, and all the other friends of the Evans' family. I will miss Joyce and Chuck and appreciate the latest visit I had prior to their passing. The Evans home was always full of fun and laughter, and I think I will miss that most.
