I just recently learned of Harriet's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Harriet was always pleasant and greeting everyone at the desk with a smile. I would bring mom back to the Manor after a day out, and Harriet and I would exchange a few words about the day or weather. With sympathy, Debbie Harrison

I had the chance to work with Harriet at Best Products later called BEST at the Deptford mall. She was a beautiful and wonderful person with always having a smile for you. I am sorry for your loss.

Harriet, you are one very special lady! I am SO sorry that I didn't get to see you, but happy that we talked. You were such a good friend to my Aunt Mare, she loved you so much. I have kept all of the beautiful sweaters that you gave her, my Mom loves to wear them! You were the first person at Pitman Manor to take my aunt under your wing, to you I am forever grateful...and then...we became family! SO happy that you made all of the concerts and even more happy that Mandy joined our family, taking Aunt Mare along with you to concerts, and ensuring that she had her three Cs...cakes, cookies, and candies!
Love you Harriet, happy for you that you are at peace with your beloved husband.

Harriet was a treasured part of our family for 15+ years. Paul and Harriet were great companions for each other for those many years. She was with us for most holidays and Dad and her did a lot of traveling during their years together. Harriet also helped me to take care of my father when he needed us so badly and I would not have made it through many of those years without the help of Harriet. She was a kind and generous woman that I will truly miss in my life. Rest in Peace Harriet.

Harriet was my first cousin. Her mom and my mom were sisters. And they were also good friends, though our family lived in Tennessee. In earlier decades, our family made annual trips to PA & NJ to visit family, including Harriet and her husband Dick. My mom and Harriet kept up regular phone contact through the years until my mom passed away in 2003. Harriet was a sweet, kind, generous, and loving person. She did not have an easy life, but she never complained. I believe that everyone who knew her felt enriched by their contact with this ordinary yet wonderful woman. She will be missed.
