Dan,
Deepest condolences to you and family on the passing of your father. He was such a good man! Fortunately, he led a relatively long life, and certainly a rich one. From all that you do for the TBT team and stakeholders, it's seen that your father's energy and spirit are also in you. Sorry that cannot be there in person, but thoughts and prayers are with him, you and family.
Best,
Dave Powlen

Very sorry to hear of your father's passing away Dave, I just found out about it. I'll never forget those great times, at your father's expense, with driving his DeLoreans, crashing his truck many times, playing hockey and skating on the pond and messing up his game room! I'm sure we were real thorns in his side during our high school years. Hoping you continue to relive the great memories of he, and your mom, thinking about you. Scott Lohmann

Dear Dr. D,
Thanks so much for all of your energy and support educating others on burn care. You left and indelible mark on so many like myself to understand and provide excellent burn care. Truly built the foundation in the Mid Atlantic Region.

I worked with Dr.DeClement at St.Agnes Hospital as an OR nurse from 1974-1977 & then as a CRNA from 1977-1979. Dr.D was a very dynamic doctor who was totally dedicated to patients with burns. It was amazing being part of their care with him in the OR at the burn center. I send my prayers and thoughts to his family, Wini Pietrzak Coulombe

Dr De was an amazing person. Not only was he my first boss but he was like a second dad. I will miss his emails talking about his grandkids and most importantly his quirky sayings. He taught me valuable lessons that I will always treasure. Rest easy Dr De until we meet again.

My mother and I both worked with Fred at St. Agnes for many years. We were always in awe of his abilities in treating burn patients. Always a joy to work with with his quirky sense of humor. Rest In Peace, Dr. DeClement.

We send our sincere condolences to our cousin Fred’s family and to all our south NJ cousins for their loss. Although time and distance kept us all apart, there was always a strong link between the two parts of our Pignatelli family. Weddings, funerals, summer tomatoes deliveries always resulted in a caravan of cars from Hammonton to Delano Place bakery shop in Fairview (Cliffside) especially when Zia Maria was alive. Years passed and often Fred and Jerry would represent our southern cousins for which we were grateful. The family history is priceless and we are blessed to have grown up knowing such a respectful and faithful cousin like Fred. God bless you all.

It is with much difficulty that I write this knowing that it is reality that dear Dr. Fred is gone. I first met him in Hammonton when he was the CEO of Kessler. Our work chemistry was so easy and comfortable that it led to a lasting friendship. I loved Fred for his love of Joan ( he always talked about her! It was lovely to hear) , his love for his family, his intelligence, his skill as a surgeon, but mostly his humor. There was never a time that I was with him when he did not make me laugh. He loved to tell me recipes although he knew I could not boil water! He always talked about eating healthy and vitamins, and I hung on every word. A funny time was when he would not take his 2 seater Mercedes out because there were puddles on the road! I obviously could go on & on. I love and miss him dearly, and am happy he allowed me to become friends with his son Dan and family. I miss you Fred!
