Bob,
Thinking of you, your lovely Amelia, and your family. Seeing your business trucks on the road all the time gave us a good feeling a fellow classmate was doing well. Our prayers are with you.

Amelia was a an incredible, wonderful, and sweet human being. I knew her for four years and in those four years she never hesitated to welcome me into her house for whatever the circumstances. It was a pleasure of mine to know her and she will be greatly miss. My love goes out to her family.

Amelia was a woman who loved life in all its glory. Ever a teacher, she was a story-teller who charmed children with her imaginative tales of nature and the meaning of Christmas. There were annual Christmas plays at home, written and performed by her five grandchildren who were the light of her life. Amelia devoted her life to her family and to the business she and Bob built together over the years. She was happy to share her extensive knowledge and expertise with customers and staff. Lately, limited mobility kept Amelia at home where she was entertained by the many birds she invited to her backyard. She told of the ducks who swam in the pool, the hawk that visited frequently, and, of course, the hummingbirds. Sustained by the love of and for her family, and by her faith in God, Amelia was a lovely woman who had a gentle soul and a remarkably generous heart.

For the Deptford Twp. High School Class of ‘70 girls, she was our “Miss Child” and over 50+ years ago, we high school kids had a front row seat and watched the love blossom between our Miss Child and fellow teacher, Mr. Bob Exley. We all aspire to find that kind of love that the Exley’s shared for all these years. We send our love, thoughts and prayers to her family. Rest In Peace in the arms of Jesus, Mrs. Exley.

We send our condolences to Bob, Bill, Chris and their families. Our son Mike spent untold hours at the Exleys when he was growing up with his best friend Bill - both working and having fun. We never thought about it at the time, but he could not have been in a better more positive environment away from home, when he was there. We are very thankful for the positive influence Amelia had on him. She was a lady of grace and faith. As our hearts break at the sorrow of those she leaves behind, we are comforted to know she is now with her Savior. We offer up prayers for comfort, strength and peace for family and friends in this time of grief. Love, Bill and Vera Brown

My sympathy to all family members from a distant cousin, Carol, connected to the Freideman side. My mother, Martha Freideman Rogers had father William Frederick Freideman, son of Conrad Freideman, who died in a tornado in N. J. My cousin Ruth Freideman Rosser told me of Amelia's death. I am so sorry for your loss. We never met, but she and her family are recorded in the family genealogy.
