Joe was my first partner while serving with Camden Police. We worked in the foot patrol unit under the Safe Streets Act. We had some good times and some bad times walking the streets. But we always did our job to protect and serve the community where we were assigned. We had each other’s back, which allowed us to come home to our family after our shift.
I was Joe’s best man when he married Joyce and Joe was my daughters godfather. It seemed our families were inseparable, with Joe and Joyce always at my house, going out or just hanging out somewhere.
Thank you Joe for being my partner and my friend. I wish I could’ve has seen you prior to your passing, but I know we will meet again. Maybe we can do some foot patrol again when we meet.
