My Dear Pat,
Fred will be sorely missed and, under normal circumstances, there would not be a venue large enough to handle all of the
Davis" friends. You and he were a great team and I was so fortunate to get to know you both, even if it was only for a short period of time. I know, from having so recently lost my dear wife Peggy, how intense the loss can be. What you need at this point is a full-bodied hug but sadly this is not possible, so you will have to take this as a poor but heartfelt substitute.
From the heart,
Your friend
George

Fred, you will be dearly missed. I loved every minute of our Dancing with the Stars season - you were incredible. You and Pat were dear friends to my mom and dad as well as me. Please give both of them a hug for me as well as my husband Chuck who also joined the angels. Maybe you and my dad can do a little fly fishing! Pat and family, my heart breaks for all of you as you say goodbye to husband, father, and grandfather. Sending you love at this time.
Love,
Susan Perron

Dear Pat and family,
I have many fond memories of the "southern" hospitality both you and Fred shared with me as a young NJSFDA county officer back in the day. Please accept my sincere sympathy to the entire family.

Pat and family, I am so very sad to hear that Fred has passed. Fred and you were so good to me many years ago when I was your first baby sitter when Robert was a baby and then when Erik arrived. I loved the summer of "67" when I was invited to go with you, Fred and the boys to Ocean City to nanny.... it was a special time for me with your family. I pray that the many wonderful memories of life with Fred will bring you comfort. Know he will always be with you. Love, hugs and prayers. Colleen Morris Plucinski.
