To Russell's family my deepest sympathies. Except briefly at Paula's service, I hadn't seen Russ for many years but his passing hurts. We were good friends. We hung out together through most of high school and several years after. It was mostly me, Russ, Bob, Doug and Bruce - five filled a car. They are all gone now. Me and Russ worked at Cedar Hill together, each had road bikes that at one time were the fastest production motorcycles, and rode together, I had a couple off-road bikes we rode all over but mostly in the orchards which is now all that new Rowan stuff including the Lapri Lanfill, which was a pit then and excellent terrain, Russ might take the bike right into the woods, no trail, following was always an adventure, we hunted and fished together, and when Russ and Paula lived on East Avenue in Pitman they introduced me to a girl living in the apartment upstairs who I married. If our brains stored memories in rooms, Russ's room would be huge. It hurts Russ is gone. Russ, Bob, Doug, Bruce my friends, reset in peace.
