My deepest sympathy to the Childress family. Ed and I worked many years together at SJG and were good friends. We had many good laughs. I know he liked to eat at the Amish market with his wife Ann who always joked with me . RIP Ed

I offer my condolences to the Family.
I too am saddened to hear of John's passing. He helped train me as a serviceman at SJG, oh so many years ago. He was always kind and helpful to me and anyone I saw him encounter. I recall him speaking fondly of his daughter in Carlisle, Pa and of his dog Winston and the issues of his fire company while the scanner blasted in the background. I don't recall calling him Ed, we all jokingly called him "By Gum", one of the expressions we'd hear him frequently say. It was all in fun and he took it well. He will be missed.
Our thoughts of peace and prayers of comfort are with the family.
Respectfully submitted,
Abe

I am saddened to hear of Ed's passing. One of the favorite memories I have is Ed telling me the story about how he met Anne. He told the story as if it was just yesterday remembering some if the smallest details, his love for his wife was immeasurable. My thoughts are with Anne and his family.

Anne, we love seeing Eddie and you come into the Amish Market. Eddie would wait patiently behind while you were having conversations with everyone around. I always had a conversation with Eddie just because he was so quiet listening to you! He was a sweet man. You are in my prayers. Debbie from the Amish Market.
