Obituary of Patrick M. DelMonte

Patrick M. DelMonte (Pat), age 80, of Englewood, FL (formerly of Monroeville, NJ), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, March 2, 2020. He was a devoted husband and father. Pat was born in Philadelphia, the son of Patrick J. and Rosalie (Ciccio) DelMonte. A graduate of Pitman High School, Class of 1958, Pat enlisted in the USMC in 1959. He was stationed at Paris Island, SC and Camp LeJeune, NC and remained available for service until 1965. Pat was a devoted member of IBEW Local #592(351) for over 55 years where he also served on the Executive Board. Pat was an avid hunter, taking many trips to the Midwest states and Maine. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. Pat is survived by his wife of 59 years BettyAnn DelMonte (Pierce), sons Michael (Cathy), Paul and daughter Patti Ann Edelbach (Robert), brothers Louis and Robert DelMonte, sistser Barbara Gates (J.R.) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pat was predeceased by his parents and brother Edward DelMonte. Friends may greet the family 8:30-10:15am on Saturday in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ.
