I mourn the passing of Bruce's life in such mental and emotional confusion and pain. To me it seems it was all too easy and convenient to blame his faults on his character rather than on the conditions and circumstances of his existence. In my heart and in my mind I know that there go I, but for the grace of God, the love of family and friends, and the maturing of the field of mental health.
I apologize for my absence at his funeral, though I will take time on that day to contemplate his spirit.
