Working together for 25+ years, Rich and I had many, many conversations and interactions. We developed a lasting relationship of mutual respect and fond regard. Rich was such a great help to me when I began working at Gloucester County College! He was always my go-to person to find out whatever I needed to know about the privilege of advising students. The most important thing that I learned about Richard, though, was his wonderful love for his children. He talked about them often and was so proud of them and interested in their lives. They were first in his regard, his affection, his care. I often wondered if I could possibly be living up to so high a level of parental care and direction with my children as Rich was with his. He was a wonderful example for me and I miss him. With love and respect, Thelma Hill

Wonderful memories of discussing travel experiences and "mapping out the route" for his adventures across the country! He loved to travel and loved his companion, Alice, who brought him so much joy! He touched many lives at the college in teaching math and advising students. Rest in peace, Rich. Love Sandee

I cannot believe you are gone my dear, dear friend. You were my true friend since childhood. I will never forget you. I am in shock. You seemed so healthy with all your healthy receipes. My only comfort is in knowing you had an unshakable belief in our Lord. I know you are together in heaven.
