Janice and Gus married the very same day and year as us. We met them after our Son and his Wife became their neighbors. Then they became FAMILY. Gus and Janice became their adoptive parents...always there for companionship and good advice. Janice had a beauty that was stunning...and a smile to match. We were blessed to have known her, and crossed paths with her. She will watch over Gus now, as will all his neighbors. Rest in peace, good Woman...love, Betty & Frank

Our family first got to know Gus and Janice in the 1980's when our kids threw their Gloucester County Times. Always among the best of customers, thoughtful, considerate, and loving. Collecting was always a delight.
Janice was polite, helpful, engaging in conversations. On walks through the neighborhood, Gus and Janice always loved on our dogs and typically gave them putty treats. And neighborhood parties at the Baders were always a delightful time of food, friends and conversation.
Our neighborhood is not going to be the same.
Love and
Prayers,
Dan, Katherine, Andrew, Becky, Luke and Rachel

Mrs Bader was a calming voice for me as a young child and a shepherd who guided me on the right path whenever she could. Many times she would call me to her office just to talk to me and see how I was doing. I have often thought of her and her kind yet firm words to me and I have never lost the lessons she taught me. Her passion for teaching was unmatched and her spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of all the children she so diligently watched over.
Rest now, school is dismissed.

Gus, Janice was a wonderful person. She and I worked together during the summer programs. Then she became my principal at Dr. Mennies School until our retirement in 2002. Beside being a colleague, she was a true friend. She will always be remembered as always having a smile for all who met her. May God give you comfort and peace. Along with her many colleagues and friends, she will be remembered for the wonderful person she was. Were it not for our distance, I would be there for the funeral. In Christian love, Carmen Bickings.
