My wife only by accident just saw Karl's death notice online and recognized his name. Karl and I were friends while working at Phila Electric. We lost touch over the years but I remember his many funny stories about his family life. My sympathy to Mary Pat and family for the lost of this good man,
Sincerely, Len West

I am so sad that Mr. Maier passed away. I met him in 1990 when I became close friends with his daughter, Shana. Mr. Maier was always pleasant and welcoming. I have so many fond memories of him, it’s so hard to believe he is not here. I will always remember his smile, humor and great disposition. I pray that God looks over Mrs. Maier, Shana and her family, and his family and friends at this difficult time. Love you all.

Our sincere condolences go out to Mary Pat, Shana, Paul ,Gabriel, Ryan and Juliet. You have lost a wonderful husband, father and grandfather(Opa). We always enjoyed being with Karl on many special occasions. He was always so pleasant even when he was not feeling well. We are very happy to have had the opportunity to know Karl and will always remember the special times that we shared together.
We know how devoted Mary Pat was to Karl and to his care. At this time our thoughts and prayers are with you.
With our deepest sympathy,
Al & Carol

Karl was a wonderful, kind friend. Jim and I considered him our family. He was always cheerful and had a dry sense of humor which we shall truly miss. We feel cheated that our friendship with him was short , although we know he is with the Lord and does not have to suffer anymore. We are grateful and were privileged to have him in our lives and enjoyed many outings together. Mary he could not have asked for a more dedicated spouse. WE LOVE YOU!!!
