Obituary of Carl J. Pape

Carl J. Pape, age 82 died on March 21, 2019. Formerly of Richwood, Carl lived in Clarksboro for the last 10 years. He graduated from Pitman High School in 1956. Carl served in the National Guard of NJ. Carl was the owner and operator of Lawnmower Parts, Inc., a family business since 1958. Carl was a charter member of the Harrison Twp. Rotary Club and a member of the Glassboro Rotary Club, where he is also a Paul Harris Fellow. He also served on the Harrison Twp. Board of Education. He was an active member of St. Thomas Church in Glassboro where he served on the Vestry for 27 years, holding such positions as Warden and Treasurer. Survived by his wife of 56 years Freda M. (nee Kieser), children Diane (Timothy) Biarnesen, Carl J. Jr. (Joanne), Gretchen (Thomas) Owen, 8 grandchildren Beau, Luke and Clint Biarnesen, Carl James Pape, and Thomas Jr, Daniel, Rachael and Matthew Owen, Sister M. Berndette RSM and sister Helen (Robert) Henderson. Requiem Eucharist will be Monday at 11am in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 212 N. Main St, Glassboro, NJ 08028. Interment St. Thomas Cemetery.
