My love, it’s been five years since you died. I sometimes still can’t believe that we won’t be together in our old age. I see older couples walking hand in hand or with arms linked and I am so envious. I want that to be us. You were half of me. Half my heart, soul, and mind. There is a gaping hole where you should be. I regret every harsh word that I ever spoke. I hope that you knew how deeply I loved you. You made my life and my heart complete. I miss your incredibly bad jokes, your beautiful eyes, your incredible smile, and your inimitable laugh. I can still hear your laugh and it makes me smile through my tears. I miss being loved by you. I wish that we could hold each other again. I can’t believe that I have to spend the rest of my life without you. I will love you always and forever.
Karen

Don was one earliest friends. He along with a Garth White, Eddie Campbell and Timmy Cooney were my first rat pack. We were pals from kindergarten all thru highschool. We both attended St John’s and Bergenfield High. We spent a lot a time together over those years. Shared a lot in the way of musical interests and building plastic model kits. Don always marched to a different drummer. I always got the impression he was going to blaze his own unique path for his life. Nice to know he and Karen were together for so long and they have kids and grandkids. After high school like with so many, life kicks in and everyone scatters. Sadly, we never re-connected. Rest in peace Don. It was an honor to call you a friend.

To the Ryan family I am so sorry for your loss. The sting of Death is sharp and painful. Nothing can fully prepare us for it. I found comfort in God’s promise at Revelation 21:4...And death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. It is my hope that the power of God’s words will comfort you as you cherish your loving memories together.

Donald’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Brother Don will be so missed at ARI. He made such an impression on everyone in the call center. He always spoke up and gave his opinion. He was a professional in his work. Always willing to help you out. He truly loved his wife, children and his mother. He always spoke about his family and showed me pictures. A great Husband, Father, Son and Friend. Karen, Brendan, Siobhan, Colin and Mother Joan be comforted in knowing Don is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he is doing very well.
Blessings,
Larry and Vivian Stiles

Don will surely be missed. He would occasionally stop over and would bring donuts. It was such a nice surprise - our girls nick-named him 'the donut man' after that. Thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. Please let us know if there is anything you need.

Don will surely be missed. He brought a unique level of energy to our group and always strived to do his best! I had the fortune to train Don when he started with ARI and I always remember how much he loved his little red Mazda; even though it broke down on him all the time! :-) He never gave up though. Although I never got to meet his family, my thoughts and prayers are with you!

I would like to send my condolences to the family and friends of Don Ryan. I met Don at ARI and what I most remember about him was his love for his family and he always had a big smile on his face and coffee in his hand. He will be missed and I pray a fence of protection around his family and friends.

I met Don 10 years ago and he was a great friend. We had coffee together every day and discussed so many things. He was family man and I got to know "The Boy", "The Wife", "Mom". and Siobhan very well. I worked on his cars and his bicycle with him many times. He will be missed. Godspeed Don Ryan, we will all see you again someday.
