I cherish the memories I have of serving the Lord at St . James Lutheran Church with Lucy. We worked together in Sunday School,, and Lutheran Women's cluster groups.
During the years of heavy fruit production of orchards in the Glassboro-Richwood area , Lucy served on the Migrant Farm Workers Ministry, in conjunction with local
churches . Lucy saw to the settling of families, and if there was a need to be
resolved.
Lucy was very perceptive. I was the well-shutin during the years of my husbands
illness, but Lucy wouldn't allow me to be shut-out. She arranged for someone to be a "sitter" so we could go to lunch and catch up on what i had been missing.
George and Lucy were a great "team" who raised three fine sons, to their parents
credit. I love you Lucy and miss you.Til we meet in God's Kingdom-goodbye
