I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Walker's passing. I have many, many childhood memories with The Walker Family. Hurff Lake, our parents playing Penny Royal(I think that was the name of the game) while all of us kids played or got into mischief. I always thought Mrs. Walker(yes, I'm 51 and can't bring myself to call her Joi) was so cool, so pretty, so fun!
May all of your memories carry through the tough times. My Dad and she are probably cutting a rug at the Heaven Inn right now. :) :) :)
Mr. Walker, Lisa, Kim, Davey: You are all heavy on my mind right now.
Love to you all,
Mary

I am so saddened to hear of your loss. My mom, Sherry, drove a bus for Clearview years ago and I knew her from that. I thought it was neat that we had the same name, as Joy isn't too common. She was a great lady and our prayers and condolences go out to everyone whose lives she touched.

I worked with Joi as a bus driver and we had many, many good times together. She was a kind and caring person and had a way to make you laugh and forget about your problems. l will miss her laugh and smile and the crazy way she would mispronounce her words when she would tell stories! What a great person she was. RIP dear friend.

Dear Jimmy and Family,
I wish we could just say something to make things 'all better', but we can't. You and your family are in our thoughts and our prayers as you deal with the loss of Joi. There will never be anyone else like her. She was one special lady!

I’m so sorry to hear of Aunt Jois passing. I have very fond memories of her while I was growing up. I also have great memories of her in social situations ( always the life of the party) even though we had lost contact over the years I feel as though I am a better person just by knowing her. She was always kind and sweet and very warm and welcoming. I’m so sorry for your loss Uncle Jimmy, Lisa, Kim and your families. I know she loves you all very much as I know she knows of the great love you all have for her as a wife, mother, friend and grandmother.

Joi was a loving friend for 45 years. Always willing to give of herself and advice for her family and friends. I was fortunate enough to call her “sis” the sister I never had. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
And boy could she dance!
