Mrs. Dole, Just recently heard of the passing of your husband Tom. We used to be involved with Gospel Ministries, back in the late 60's early 70's. Remember going to Gloucester County Jail at 8 Am on Sundays. I (Stella) played the little organ that you had to push the pedals for it to play and my husband, Nick played the trumpet. Some times Nick & I sang duets too. Also going to the nursing homes especially the Old Soldiers Home in Vineland, NJ. Because of those few years we went with Tom, and experiencing the blessing we were to people and how much we were blessed, now going for the pass 9 years to Cardinal Village on a monthly basis with the seniors of our church. We met Tom through our neighbor, George "Bo" This. Tom was a humble and generous man and a man who lived God with all his heart. Our condolences to you and your family. God's comfort and peace. Tom was a true servant of the Lord. I knew Tom through ministry with him at the nursing homes. He faithfully served there and truly cared for the souls of those gathered. Despite barriers and frustrating circumstances at the prisons, he continued to go and preach there as well. His devotion to the gospel makes him one of my spiritual heroes. He was truly an example of serving Christ faithfully, even as he aged and dealt with health issues. He was a tender, humble man who enjoyed gathering people to serve alongside of him. I pray that you, his family, may be comforted that He is with Jesus, His great treasure and receiving his rewards for faithful service to our Lord.

I am thankful for the many people whose lives were changed because of Tom. Who knows how many prisoners and nursing home people that came to the Lord because of the ministries. I was blessed to be a small part of it during my teen years.
