Please accept my deepest condolences. The following words have helped many to cope with the loss of someone special. 1 Corinthians 1: 3, 4 states "Praise be the God and Father or our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials..."
Our Father, Jehovah God, will help your family and friends cope with such a difficult loss. In 1 Corinthians 15:26 he promises us that "the last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing." I hope the family and friends can find some comfort in this promise.

Lillian......So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. The world will certainly be a little duller without him. Thinking of you and your family. Having gone thru it so recently ( and also having been married for 61 years ), I can tell you, it's having the family you created together around that helps the most......and the memories. Please except our deepest sympathy. I have so many fond memories of him. He was our family doctor in Pitman for many years. He was always so caring and sincere. He took care of our children since they were born until he retired from the Pitman office. He was a great mentor to me when my father was dying from cancer,{ his patient also}. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. The Mason and Marshall family.

Our deepest sympathies to Mrs Wozniak and Laura, Marie, Ellen , and Susan. Your family enveloped my Mom and me especially following the loss of my father. That meant more than you know! From that horrible day during the Cobbins Fire when Doc Woz and Mom met while caring for the firefighters overcome with heat and smoke, kicking off their office relationship, to those many years later when we lost Mom, you were part of our world. May the amazing love you have shown us and so many others now return to you!!! Dr Wozniak was crazy, funny, caring, selfless, and a really good health care provider!!! His loss is a loss to us all.

I will have nothing but good memories of you Uncle Ed. Picking me up by “my ears” as a kid, holiday dinners, and most of all, always keeping me on my toes with that unique sense of humor. More than memories, you helped shape who I am today. I will miss you Uncle Ed.

Sending our deepest sympathy to Lillian and Dr. Wozniak's entire family.
Dr. Woz was one of the most impressive people I have known. He always had read the latest updates and happening in the medical world. He was not only a great doctor but a great person. He always took the time to help or advise. He even let my family use his box seats at Cowtown Rodeo. I always thought he would outlive me even though he was older.
He took such great care of his patients and he sure ate healthier than I.
I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Woz at Mullica Hill family health center for over 9 years.
My heart aches for everyone he left behind because even though it has been years since I last saw him, I miss him.
Love and peace to all
Mariann and Jack Baldwin

To the Wozniak Family,
Our heartfelt condolences in the passing of 'Dr. Ed'. He was my first doctor and truly the best one I have ever had. I loved that he would still come in to our families gun shop and give us advice, shots and really bad old jokes every time. He truly was a great man and will be missed by so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Wozniak and your entire family.
God Bless- Wendy (Viden) Copenhaver

Growing up in Pitman in the 1950's, we had Dr. Whittaker taking care of us until he retired. I remember Dad and Mom reassuring us that a "new Doctor" was moving in and would be taking good care of our healthcare needs. His name was a little difficult for us young kids to wrap around the tongue...but he made do with people calling him "Dr. Ed" or "Doc Woz"... And after a few years, I came to be called upon periodically to "watch the girls" so "Mrs. Woz" could do Spring cleaning and not worry about them playing in the yard on Woodbury Rd. The group was a very active team together and loved playing ball, and using the swing set...and I'd see the Doc taking a short break to watch them from the back porch every once in a while. They showed me where he had them plant peanuts in the garden to let them understand that this "nut" grew underground and not on trees...and they talked A LOT about wanting a horse! Their biggest disappointment was that they couldn't have one as the yard was too small...
Fast forward to 1978, and in Rome, The College of Cardinals elected Karol Józef Wojtyła as Pope. Shortly thereafter, I came to realize that our Creator has a very good sense of humor! Dad told me that Doc Woz had to make good on a promise to his daughters...that he would get them a horse if we ever had a "Polish Pope"...which I know he thought of as a safe bet on his side. He wrote a letter to the Vatican Curia (one which I'm sure has never been duplicated) explaining that since the Princes of the Church had seen fit to install a Pole on the throne of Peter...he was going to have to move his family to a site where they could their hearts' desire. A man, good to his word, Doc Woz soon moved the family and I'm sure he was glad to make the girls happy.
Recently, having gone through treatment for Leukemia, I know I had the Wozniak's praying for me. I appreciated their calls...and when he told us he was going through "heart troubles" he was added to our prayers as well. It is so sad to have lost him. But we know he is with his Savior as we speak...sharing his jokes with the Heavenly Hosts...and checking up on Mom & Dad, and all his other friends and patients who got there before him. Hebrews 12:1

Doc "The Wizard of Woz" Wozniak is gone; hard to believe for a man who was always moving. He was the doctor who could make you laugh when you were hurting. "Doc, it hurts when I move it like this." "Well, don't move it like that." (credit to Bowl for quote). I have seen his serious side and I know what a caring person he was. Ed Wozniak was dedicated to his family, his friends, his community, and his profession. Thank you Mrs. Wozniak, Laura, Marie, Ellen, and Sue for sharing him with us.
