Obituary of June Bernice Taylor

June Bernice Taylor (nee French), age 90 years, of Pitman, passed in her home early Saturday morning. June was born January 7, 1927 and raised in Conshohocken, PA. She often came to visit family in Pitman during her summers. It was during one of these summer visits that she met the love of her life, Pitman resident Bernard Rowley Taylor. The couple married in 1950 and had four children. June was a quiet woman with a quick wit, impish smile, and huge heart. For eighteen years, she worked as a secretary/bookkeeper at the Woodbury, and then the Mullica Hill Friends Schools. For over 60 years, she participated in couples and girls' card nights. An avid bowler who, not very long ago, could still break 200, June enjoyed spending Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with her senior bowling group at the Glassboro Lanes. She treasured her time with family and friends, and loved her life on Alcyon Lake. She was predeceased by her husband Bernie (2008)»(Do not delete this line. It does not print.
