I didn't grow up in Pitman, but I have attended PUMC for over 10 yrs. I always heard about this guy Yogi. Then I heard that Yogi was a crossing guard at OFH. So one day I got to meet him, the famous Yogi. He was very sweet. Leaving the early service I noticed a woman on the bench in the narthex and struck up a conversation about our canes. She noticed that I drag my feet like her and she said her son always tells her to pick up her feet. I said tell your son to mind his business. Finally she introduced herself as Alberta Ianotti and her husband was Yogi. I ask her if she had a relative that taught. 'My son Steve.' Steve was my teacher at Kingsway. It's a small world and I've been blessed to know Yogi.

I am Yogi's daughter in law. I met him when Jay and I were dating. Loved him like a real Dad. Especially since I lost mine at an early age. We traveled with him and Alberta many times and he always made me laugh. He spent many many times at our homes here in Colorado and at night he always asked for a "spot of tea" of course in his fake English accent. I got to know how he liked it. With an ice cube Pop I will
Miss those and the many times you made laugh. Love you. Your loving daughter in law Nettie Palace

My most heartfelt condolences on the passing of "YOGI" PALACE. I knew him from 1960. He was like a second father to me; a total Leader and Inspiration for me joining THE MARINE CORPS. I have hundreds of fond memories of him.He will surely be missed. I hope to meet him in Heaven. GOD BLESS "Yog"!
