Dear Mary, Jim, Debbie, Carmen, Jr., and the entire Visalli family,
We want to share our sincerest condolences with you. When we moved to Elk Township 39 years ago, Mary and Carmen were among the first people we met. Understandably, moving to a new area we didn't know what to expect, but were warmly welcomed by the Visalli's and over the years developed a friendship with them that will be cherished forever. As you all know, Carmen was the kind of man who made himself at home in your life. His thoughtful advice, kind acts, generous and giving nature, funny spirit, and love of his family and friends are only some of the things that made him loved by so many. His character was such that anyone who met him felt as if they knew him for a long time. We will treasure our memories of him always. This is certainly a tragedy that should never have happened. We must all take a page from his book, rally around his family, and show them all of the love and support he would have, and has, shared with all of us at one time or another. Rest in peace, Carmen. St. Peter surely threw open those Pearly Gates and had no hesitation in allowing you to enter. Surely the angels are laughing at his wonderful stories and anecdotes as many of us who knew him have done in the past, and will continue to do in the future as we think of him.

Our prayers and sympathies are with all of you as you journey through your loss. I am grateful my family knew Mr. Vasalli as he was.....a life long trusted and respected friend of my father and all of us through the years. We all enjoyed the larger than life personality of Mr. Vasalli and the strength of a man from that generation. We looked forward to being in his company. As everyone knows, he was one of a kind and will be sorely missed. Everyone should be so lucky as to have a Carmen Vasalli touch their life. Certainly, memories of Mr. Vasalli bring smiles everywhere! Van the Man Morrison...."Into the Mystic"

Carmen was a true original. We met him when we bought our farm. He and Mary were so very friendly and welcoming to us.
Over the years Carmen and Mary became very good friends. I would love to chat with Carmen when I saw him while walking my dogs in the fields. He was very gracious about sharing his land and the produce.
We will miss him so much as time goes on. We are so sad to think that he will not be seen buzzing about in the fields. He was such a fun, happy person.
We send our deepest sympathy and condolences to all the Visalli family at this time.

My deepest sympathy for the entire family. I got to know Mr. Visalli at an early age as I grew up in Elk Township and worked on his farm. We had many laughs as we worked long days. I also learned that you will probably will not get many words in as Mr. Visalli loved to talk. I loved the talks as we took morning breaks while feasting on watermelons. He often teased me and said "boy, I see you looking at the Lewis girl's house". He was right and I married her. Colleen and I have known Mr. and Mrs. Visalli our entire lives. They even attended our wedding. I'm gonna have to dig up those old pictures and share them with the family. Here's to you Mr. Visalli. The guy who could out work any young person, who loved what he did and always made me laugh. I will miss you.

To the entire Visalli family - our deepest sympathies and prayers for the lost of a truly unique and wonderful man. I will remember the day I met Mr. Visalli as long as I live - Chuck and I just started dating and he was in Bob and Eileen's wedding. While the wedding party took pictures I sat with some of Chuck's friends...Mr. Visalli and Mr. Dean, who proceeded to get me drinks as we got to know each other, chat and laugh. He made me feel like he knew me my whole life and made what could have be ackward a great memory. Both our kids worked at Visalli's and Mr. Visalli was their bus driver. He will be missed but never forgotten. I am sure Skip and Chuck are already telling stories with him.
