Obituary of Leona E. Sharp

Leona (Lee) Eleanor Sharp (nee Brasteter) age 86 years, of Glassboro, NJ, passed away quietly on June 3rd at Advanced Subacute Rehabilitation Center in Sewell. Born in Grenloch, she was a graduate of Pitman High School. Lee was a mother and wife and raised her four boys with care and affection. Lee was also a volunteer with the Glassboro Ambulance Corps for many years. She was an avid bowler, and also enjoyed cheering for the Phillies , Eagles, Flyers and NASCAR's Richard Petty. Devoted to her husband, Lee attended many antique car shows with Bob. Pre-deceased by her husband of 66 years - Robert A. Sharp, Sr. - and survived by four sons: Robert A., Jr. (Jennifer), Michael, Gerald (Lorraine) and Richard (Dawn); grandchildren Justin ( Marcia), Brett (Jessica), Scott, Steven, Tyler, and Shelby; and great-grandchildren Nina, Savita, Aaron, and Evan. Friends and family may call after 10 AM Saturday June 10th in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral service is at 11 AM, followed by interment in the Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the Alzheimer's Association South Jersey Chapter, 11000 Lincoln Drive, Marlton, NJ 08053.
