I have just recently learned of the passing of Mr. Jansen. Please accept my sincerest and deepest sympathies. Mr. Jansen was always a gentleman, a great mentor and a pleasure to work for and learn from. I have many memories of this honorable man who helped me to assimilate to Nuclear. Many of the fond memories I have were his compassion and understanding and his jovial sense of humor. Rest in peace, my old friend. You will be missed as intensely as you were admired by us all. To Dave's Family: Sorry, we were out-of-town and unable to attend the service. I met Dave on my first day on the job at Salem station in 7/72. We were friends and co-workers from that time on. After he transferred to the nuclear training center (NTC) both myself and my wife (Ann) had daily contact with him. He was a good instructor, supervisor and ran the equipment operator training program seamlessly until he retired. Both the NTC and I were fortunate to have such a good man working for us. He liked to come across as stern and cantankerous but those of us who knew him just smiled. I always enjoyed sitting and talking with him at the retiree breakfast's. We will miss but never forget him! Our condolences, Jim and Ann Lloyd

I have worked with Dave for many years at PSEG Salem Nuclear Generating Strartion from 1972. We enjoyed many retired breakfasts and conversations together. He will be greatly missed. Bob VanderDecker

Mr Jansen was a wonderful father to my good friend Kristine, and grandfather to her girls Maddy and Kylie. I know he will be missed very much. May he live on through the many happy memories you all shared together. I will always fondly remember how he enjoyed helping us when we were first starting our business 10 years ago.❤️
