Obituary of Robert Allen Sharp

Robert A. (Bob) Sharp Sr., age 88 years, died May 21 at Advanced Subacute Care, Sewell, NJ. Born in Pitman, he had lived in Glassboro for over 65 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1947. He was employed by DuPont for over 35 years. Bob was a classic car enthusiast, and owned a 1952 Plymouth. He loved attending car shows and was an avid Phillies and Flyers fan and a long time bowler. He was predeceased by siblings Charles, Dolly Pedicord, and infant sister Barbara. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Leona "Lee" nee Brasteter, sons Robert A. Jr. (Jennifer), Michael, Gerald (Lorraine), Richard (Dawn), grandchildren; Justin (Marcia), Brett (Jessica), Scott, Steven, Tyler, and Shelby, great grandchildren; Nina, Savita, Aaron, and Evan. Also survived by his siblings Bonnie (Bob) Hanna, William (Nancy) Sharp and Jay (Dee) Sharp. Friends may call on Saturday after 11am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service will be at 12pm. Following the memorial service, please join the family at Bob's favorite restaurant - the P&B Diner in Glassboro.
