Wayne and family: So sad to hear of Beth's passing. Many fond memories, especially in high school. Beth was always smiling and I will miss her dearly. I think of her often.

My thoughts and prayers are with you tonight as Beth's life is celebrated. She lived a life full of love for her family and the beauty that surrounded her. Now she is soaring with the angels looking over all that she loved. We will miss you Aunt Beth.

Beth was my very first friend when I moved to Pitman at 12 years old. We were in 7th grade and we connected right away. We developed a group of friends, calling ourselves the 11 US. We even got identical ID bracelets engrave with our names and "11 US" on the underside of the bracelet. Through the years we kept in touch. Our group grew smaller but we stayed in contact as much as possible. The last few years our contact lessened . The last time I spoke with her was on the phone and she was the same cheerful self although I knew everything was not okay. I loved her talent as an artist. She made us note cards with different pieces of her art on each one. She had a wonderful spirit. Even though I didn't see her often these last years I thought of her often and will miss her terribly.

Dear Wayne and Family,
WOW! Just thinking back about our wonderful growing up years and all the fun we had through high school. We were best buddies for a long time and shared so many things together.....champion hockey team players, double dates, boyfriends who were best friends, lots of fun times, graduating together, staying around Pitman and again having fun! I always prayed that Beth knew Jesus as her Savior and I hope to have fun again with her throughout eternity. Dear Wayne, I know you will miss her dearly and I pray that you and your children and grandchildren will lean hard on God's everlasting arms as they will never break and will always be there to hold you up. God promises to never leave us for even a minute, even in the lonely times.
Walt just had hernia surgery and had a 6 inch incision, so I guess we won't be able to come to the service, but be assured that our prayers are there with you all.
We send our love,
Walt and Lois

I will always remember Aunt Beth's sparkling and incredibly infectious personality. It was impossible not to be in good spirits in her presence. Some of my fondest memories growing up were with Aunt Beth and Uncle Wayne. I remember visiting her home on the lake and spending hours on the paddle boat only to come back to amazing company I am lucky to call family. Ocean City will always have a special place in my heart because of Aunt Beth. My Grammy and her sister Beth loved it there and because of them I got to enjoy it and learn what made it so special. Not only it's beauty but also as a place that brings family together. A place you can visit and feel the warmth and love of those who are no longer with us but who we feel in our bones and see in each other because we were so lucky to know them and call them family. I love you Aunt Beth!

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of Aunt Beth's passing. It's hard to know what to say at a time like this...so many thoughts, emotions, and memories are running through my mind.
I've always viewed Aunt Beth as larger than life...so passionate, so energetic, so kind, so committed to her family, and so very cool! She had a zest for life that I found refreshing and enviable. As I look back on my life, Aunt Beth was always the perfect compliment to my mother, a wonderful woman in her own right, They were both "pistols" and together, the Scull sisters had a profound and tremendously positive influence on me.
Many of my favorite memories involve Aunt Beth and Uncle Wayne (as well as Kim, Julie, Hap, and Mandy). Though far too infrequent, my visits to New Jersey to see Beth and Wayne were always tremendously fun and memorable and usually involved a martini or two. I can't thank Beth enough for the stories and insights she shared about my Mom over those cocktails. I'll certainly never forget the "goodbye" that Beth and Wayne provided my Mom at the shore a few years back. It was a classic combination of family, love, fun, wonderful stories, great food, and hours spent at "Wayne's Bar." It was an awesome way to introduce Mark (my son in law) to our family. It was priceless and something I will always treasure.
I am so thankful to have had Aunt Beth as part of my life...she will always live in my heart as will all those she loved so much.

“Seashells remind us that every passing life leaves something beautiful behind.”
I think this is especially true when we all think of Grandie. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that she carries such a spark to her that seems to ignite the energy of everyone and everything around her.
She was always excited to hear about the journeys that her family members were on and their experiences. Grandie was also full of fun stories to keep us all laughing when we were together as a family. Grandie along with Papa got to experience many great times in their journey together and personally I always liked to hear about the great adventures and accomplishments they have had together. One of these accomplishments can be seen in the family that they have.
The Groffs are an amazing family and being around any one of them allows you to see that they were instilled with a great set of family values. They would give you the shirt off their back if you were in need. To that wonderful family… This is not the end of a journey for Grandie but a continuation of a journey through life. I like to think she is scouting out all the Great places to go and things to do in heaven.
Grandie was extremely passionate about her wonderful family and all that she cared about. The pain that is felt by everyone in her passing is because of that impact that she had on each and every one of us. I feel honored to have gotten to spend so much time with her since I met her granddaughter and now my wife Alyson. I’ll always be thankful of the time we have spent together. I have seen how closely my wife takes after you Grandie and your creativity… that creative talent that you both share is unmatched.
You are known for your artwork and creativity and that will live on for all of us…. Now when we see something unique and beautiful happening in nature we will know you are the artist behind the work presenting us with your masterpiece. You are truly remarkable and you will be greatly missed by All of us.
