I was so sorry to read about Jean's passing. She was a fantastic nurse and colleague and friend during her time at Edgewood Junior High School. I have very fond memories of her kindness and humor. Please know you are all in my heart and my prayers at this very sad time. I will be honored to make a donation to St. Jude Research Hospital in memory of Jean. Janet S. We are so saddened by the passing of Jean. We have enjoyed her and Nick's company for many years as Jean and I had worked together for many years at Edgewood Junior High School. We especially enjoyed their presence at our Christmas parties. We have flowers growing in our yard, that Jean gave us, that will always be a reminder of Jean. I believe that as long as you remember Jean she will never be gone. May our Lord comfort your family. Kathy and Jack Austin

My sincere condolences to nick and family, the short time that I knew jean I came to realize what a thoughtful, loving and caring person she was. She always made me smile and laugh and brightened every day she was in my presence. She will be sadly missed by me and so many others, and we should all remember what a wonderful person she was and take a chapter from her life book and live every day like she did!!

I will miss my dear friend Jean. We worked together at Logan and remained friends ever since. Jean was the best kind of friend, always there for you and she was little but mighty. I will miss meeting her for breakfast or for Chinese for lunch. We didn't see each other that often but when we did it was like I had just seen her the day before. True friends have that connection and Jean was a true friend...you better believe it.
