Carla's smile would light up the room when she entered, and her warm manner made everyone comfortable. I will miss her expertly taken pictures of wildlife and of the family on FB.
I am thinking of & praying for all of you, and I will stop & pray at 3 pm Sunday here in NC during her services.
Carla was a good friend to all and I will miss her. My deepest sympathy to Bruce & family. God Bless.

To a special classmate and friend who offered all her compassion and offers of help when I
was incapacitated with broken bone issues. We tried to arrange lunch dates, but I was so involved with caring for my bedridden mom, things never materialized. I so regret this. We did share a love of daisies being our favorite flower, and we both had daisies as our bridal bouquet. My heart breaks for her family, especially her devoted husband, Bruce. She loved
her family so much. God Bless and pray wonderful memories will comfort you.

My sincere condolences to the family. Words are never enough to take away the pain; but we can find comfort in God's promises. In Acts 24:15 God promises to soon bring our loved ones back to life again by means of a resurrection. Soon we will get to enjoy wonderful times again with our loved ones on earth and be free from all suffering and death forever- Psalms 37:29 and Revelation 21:3-5. I hope that the family can find hope and comfort in these promises; and may God provide all of you with strength and inner peace during this difficult time. For more bible based comfort in coping with grief and the days ahead please visit www.jw.org (Search: Loved ones). The family will be in my prayers.

Bradley-Evans family,
I am sorry to see this sad news. Carla was a friend to my sister, Chris, going back 'just a few years'. And again more recently these past few years, enjoying their girl gatherings. She cataloged those trips through her pictures on FB making you wish you were these as well.
Cherish all of your fond, happy memories, as I know her many friends have.

I was a college classmate of Carla at MBC. She was a sweetheart and always had a smile on her face. When we became Facebook friends recently, I marveled at her beautiful pictures. I am so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Carla many years ago at ccis. I remember her as a warm wonderful person . She loved her family and spoke of them often. The world had lost a wonderful gracious person. Rejoice in the love that you shared and know that she is no longer in pain but resting in the arms of our savior. Prayers for your family during this difficult time.

Carla and I first met in 2000. Our children, Jared and Rachel were attending Messiah College at the time. We went to see Noah at Sight and Sound Theater together, and after that went out to eat on several other occasions. Bruce and Carla graciously entertained Bill and me at their lake house and we thoroughly enjoyed becoming friends.Carla's blueberry summer pie is in our recipe book and will forever be a family favorite. Once the kids graduated and went their separate ways, we kind of lost track of each other, then one day about 5 years ago, I got a "friend" request from her. Since then, we have enjoyed family photos and snapshots of nature captured as only Carla could. I remember enjoying their last trip to Antigua last February and shortly thereafter learning she had been taken ill. As I'm sure was the case for many of her friends, we thought the doctors caught it early and she would be fine. My Rachel and I were discussing the news of Carla's passing yesterday and I think she summed it up well. "Gosh, Mom, Carla's parents lived to be really old. We thought she'd have a long life too." God had other plans. I am truly sorry for your loss and trust that memories will comfort you, Bruce, Jared, Lindsey and the rest of your families. She was a special woman who will be missed, but she will live on in the lives of her children and precious grandchildren. Please know you will all be in our prayers in the days ahead. God Bless...

Sometimes is very difficult to make people understand how much a person can just be so important and so part of your heart , but with Carla has never been an issue.
She has always been the smiling, understanding, loving and wise woman that would be there even so far away, with a word, a little gesture, an extra effort, in any situation, because love and family have been the core values of her life.
Is with great sadness that we have came to know her sickness and her struggle to fight it, but is with great joy in our heart that we say that we have been blessed to get the chance to know her and spending time with the wonderful soul she is.
She will always live within our hearts, knowing that she watches us all from above and that God witnessed that.
Heaven is the right place for Carla, pain free. We will miss her dearly, but her love has been like a seed that has and will be growing in our hearts.
My deepest condolences to the wonderful family she has, sending you all our love.

I will always remember how she helped me to do the family research, a little reluctant at first, but as we got to know each other better that changed to helpful fun times. I so enjoyed hr stunning pictures and she helped to get my first good camera. I loved the amazing tales and beautiful pictures that she shared on Facebook. Her many stories, the amazing trips to Capon Springs and Antigua...almost made me feel like I was there with you guys.
Thank you so much for allowing me to share your life and family Carla....I never got to meet you in person, but your acceptance of me as a "Cousin" will never be forgotten. May you Rest forever in God's loving arms, My love and prayers to Bruce, Jared and Lindsey, and the ever amazing and loved Grand children, Celia, Gwen and James.

"Such is the power of love: it embraces, and unites, and fastens together not only those who are present and near, and visible, but also those who are distant. And neither time, not separation in space, no anything else of that kind, can break up and divide in pieces the affection of the soul"– St John Chrysostom.
