The faculty and students of Glassboro (Rowan). owe much to John: his talent, of course, but mainly because he was a wonderful person who cared for and skillfully led students and faculty. John, My friendship with you and Marilyn has meant so very much to me, you both have been more like family to me than anything and I will miss you desperately. I have memories that I will cherish, especially the memory of our lunches I had with the both of you and how I still think you make the best salads. John you were such a role model to me, when my pains became to much for me to handle, you would come into my mind. You handled your Cancer with so much courage and dignity. You would never let any of us at church know when you were in pain, even though we knew you were. I always thought of you as such a gentleman in the truest sense of the word and you added such vibrant colors into the lives that were blessed in knowing you. So rest in peace dear friend... until we meet again.
