Obituary of Hilda Burke

Hilda Burke (nee Simon), age 93 died on August 31, 2016. Hilda was a longtime resident of Pitman, NJ and with her late husband, operated Joe Burke's Shoe Repair in Pitman from 1951-1971. Hilda was a Gold Star wife and enjoyed quilting. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph W. Sr. Survived by her sons Joe and his wife Ruth of Independence, MO, Mat of Vineland, NJ, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Thursday 9:30-10:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 11am at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, Holy Name of Jesus Church, 17 Earlington Ave, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062. Interment Eglington Cemetery.
