Obituary of Lloyd Diehl

Lloyd Diehl, age 91. of Hurffville, passed away at home on August 6th surrounded by his family. Lloyd served in World War II with the US Army 106th Infantry Division at the Battle of the Bulge, was taken prisoner Dec 1944, and liberated April 1945. After the war, Lloyd became an electrical contractor establishing his own business in 1956. He was also an avid boater and fisherman.
Predeceased by his wife Lillian Corinne and daughter Diane DiFrancesco, he is survived by his wife Allie, daughter Carol Meadows (James), son Dave Diehl (Lisa), son in law Al DiFrancesco (Theresa), as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may greet the family on Thursday August 11th after 10AM at the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman NJ. A funeral service will follow at 11AM. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that you make donations to the charity of your choice in Lloyd's name.
