Obituary of Annie Kathleen Leonardi

Annie Kathleen Leonardi (nee Evans), "Annie Kate" age 92, died peacefully at home in Pitman New Jersey, July 16, 2016 in the arms of her loving husband of seventy years. She is survived by her husband Samuel, sons Stephen and Alan, daughters Susan and Carol, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Born in Clinton, North Carolina, a member of the State Championship Basketball team, a graduate of tiny Turkey High School and a graduate of East Carolina University. She worked as a teacher and researcher, and devoted her life to serving her family. Well known in the community as a tireless and enthusiastic supporter of a myriad of activities and causes. Her interests included fishing, seashells, flowers, travel, cooking and practicing instant acts of random kindness. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 2pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service will be at 3pm. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
