A truly appropriate picture of brother Doug taken in front of Ronobo, the camp of the Roberts/Noddin/Bossert family on Frenchman Bay, Maine. This was one of Doug's favorite spots from the time he was a young child to his last days. Here, in our teenage years I can remember us on our annual Maine vacation trying to sink an old wooden rowboat built by our grandfather, (Gramp), in the frigid waters in front of camp or skipping rocks on the water until we could throw no more. In later years we shared many a time sailing together, walking the beach looking for seaglass, or in more recent years just basking in the afternoon sun watching the sailboats go past, usually followed by Happy Hour. Such a great guy - kind, generous, unassuming, dry sense of humor and the consummate father and grandfather proud of the many accomplishments of his son, Doug Jr. and grandchildren Annalise, Brendan and Cullen. Doug loved collecting unusual antiques - swords, a full-size brass diving helmet he converted into a nite lite and many more. He had an artistic talent exhibited in his pen and ink drawings. Life is far too short but the wonderful memories of Doug will go on for generations. Brother Doug you are greatly missed! Rest Now in Peace! Love, Dan

I'll miss Uncle Doug. I have fond memories of playing catch together in the backyard as a kid and working on camp in Maine together as an adult. Rest in peace and you will live forever in the memories of your family.
With love, your nephew Greg.
